my hdmi works now!!!!!!!!
thanks for all the input guys!!!!!!! I was surfing a lot of forums and found solution to the problem.They instructed most of us with hdmi problems to use your remote thru dtv.1 go to menu 2 hit settings 3 setup 4 info and test 5 then run system test to download current software fix.
after doing this if ur hdmi works your next problem would be 1. you only get to watch hd channels
2 non hd channels work
They said turn native off and choose whatever format your favorite channel is showing(ie 720p for most sports shows and 1080p once in a while for local hd programming like cbs nbc fox and so forth.
to do this go back to menu hit settings then set up then display and choose as mentioned above. It should solve the problem.
