HDNews, the nation's first 24-hour, seven-days-a-week, national high-definition news channel, is offering NPPA national award winning television photojournalists the opportunity to produce high quality news stories for HDNews.
NPPA national award winning TV photojournalists will be commissioned on a freelance basis to provide HDN with a highly polished and produced package or photo essay in high definition. To some, it will be the first opportunity to experiment and produce a visionary photo essay or sound-on-tape report in the new and exciting medium of HD.
The photojournalist will be provided with 16x9, 1080i HD gear by HDN and will have two weeks to complete the assignment for a flat fee.
All material shot for HDN will be used on its high definition, satellite delivered channel and will be available for the photojournalist's resume reel.
