i looked at sony bravia very expensive lcd tvs but very surprised they dont have picture in picture which doesnt make sense. is that just the "sony" thing?

As most content that comes into a TV these days comes from an external tuner, PIP in the TV is becoming less and less relevant.

What is baffling is that the HR20 doesn't support PIP.

I have a Westinghouse 27 inch LCD LTV-27w7 HD. Works great, but the pip does not work for vga imput.

cant i see two video inputs as PIP? lets say i want video 1 on whole screen and video 2 as PIP. why cant they make multiple windows open on TV like we do on a computer?

Lg makes a 24 inch computer monitor with PIP. 1900 x 1200 resolution should support 1080p HD. Model number is L246WP-BN and is available at Best Buy. Gateway also makes a 24 inch, model # FPD2485W. These are monitors, so no tuners. The LG has HDMI & component inputs and the Gateway has DVI & component. Prices currently $600-$700.
