hdtv demo channel just disapeared

cant get it on my 811. I was just watchin it about an hour ago! anybody else have this problem?

Seeing as how you also lost your locals guide in a lower post, have you reset your 522 or done a checkswitch or any of that good preventative maintenance stuff?

I have had that problem in the past with a 508 and all I had to do was remove the smart card and put it back in and all the lost channels came back. Now the 811 has the built in smart card chip so who knows how you would reset it.

Press and hold the power button on the front of the unit for like 5 seconds and the unit will reboot.

That's still an option if you really want that "special thrill" :shock: that can come from doing it (i.e. getting your fingers across the prongs while putting it back in).

My 6000 has lost HD Demo also (61.5). It's gone from the guide data also.

It's there on my 811 as of 18:44CST. Maybe they've changed it to 8PSK or it was just a temporary thing.

Of course it would be better with a 921 to set to record at 2am!
