Well, did it and bit the bullet....got rid of Comca*t...

Had the slimline installed today and now the adventure begins..figuring out the system and ESPECIALLY the programming (channel guide).

Does anyone have a good way to learn the channels? (is there a print out?)

Is there a simple way of adding channels to a favorite list?

I have the HR22 model.

Any suggestions for this newbie is always welcome! (especially the 2 questions I have so far)

Welcome to the site !

You can go to D*'s website and either print out a copy or there is a section that tells you the channels in you package.

As far as the Favorites goes, it's usually in the set up menu.

Thanks..after 24 hours it seems to be getting a bit better. Guess the new toy excitement made my head spin a bit. Getting a "tiny" handle on things here.

Thanks for the direction - the list will be printed out!
