I connected 1 new HWS and called to get it activated. An hour plus later, they had told me they must activate both new HWS and deactivate both H2K and I can not access the old hoppers to transfer unless they are connected and activated. I was also told I can also connect only 2 Hoppers to a dual node.

What do I have to do to transfer about 500 hours of programming from each Hopper? Currently can not see EHD from either Hopper. One new HWS is up and running the other is still in the box. How should I proceed.

i do have a portable dish and spare dual node I can hookup if I need to. They did tell me they reactivated both old Hoppers. I called back when I could not see the EHD and the new tech said there was no indication that the old Hoppers existed.

i am confused and frustrated.

I would try connecting it to the new Hopper first to verify it is recognized and works. If it isn't recognized try pulling the USB cable out of the Hopper, does the disconnected message appear? Also give it a few minutes plugged in to see if it's recognized.
