Help ID a Mesh Bud around 9-10ft??

I found this dish listed locally for $150. Steep but I am wondering what brand it may be. Seller measured with her iPhone and got 9.5ft for diameter but it sure looks like a 10ft. I was thinking about offering to take it down for free and make her eyesore go away for good.

Located in Arkansas and the feed cover says "American"

If it's 10 foot and good shape, stop at the ATM on the way there. Dishes are getting hard to find Mesh looks good, if the actuator works I would give $150 all day long.

It looks like an old Von Weiss actuator. Which may be seized like the last one I recovered. They don't seem to tolerate the elements like the Venture or SuperJacks I've seen.
 
Offset-mount, looks like a SAMI to me. They made dishes for others to rebrand. I'd give $100 for that all day long... Besides, nose cones are a replaceable dime a dozen, and doesn't mean that's the brand name of the dish itself.

I figured it was a retailer's name of some sort. But I don't think it is a SAMI because the polar mount is welded together where your actuator can only be installed on the right side. My SAMI mounts have all had hardware and holes drilled so that you can set up the actuator on either side. Perhaps this was a feature on the newer SAMIs?

That's right, you got a point there. I'm unaware of any SAMI's that have welded mounts. Doesn't mean they don't exist, but everyone I've seen has hardware and drilled holes as you said to allow switching the motor to either side.

I'm guessing you may get it for the half c note you offered. Other than we hobbyists (and the scrappers) there is little market for these.
 
Make it a DIY gazebo for yourself only install it upside down and at an angle so you can use it as a fixed dish. Give it a dual purpose in life!

I was approached by the owner of a prominent Oklahoma architectural company who wanted to buy a dish for a gazebo. It was at the 1984 OKC home and garden show. I had an 8-foot Winegard on a 10-foot pole, mounted on a concrete pad with an Earthbound Clampbrace™ mount. He saw the dish in the sky and was inspired. He wanted to coat it with some kind of durable stucco material and plant it with four poles at the sections. I sold him the 10' dish, but when I saw him at a service call a year or so later, he said he had abandoned his idea.

Last summer in the Ozarks, I and my wife saw a 10-foot Unimesh or Sami, no mesh, suspended face down on a single center pole that was about 10' long. Lush vines covered the dish ribs and ring and hung to the ground. It was one of the best alternate uses of a dish I have seen.
