Help with 72.5 locals

This has probably been asked before but I am new here and was wondering if a Super Dish from Dish Network would work to get the 101 and 72.5 (my locals ) sat in one dish? I have the 4x4 switch for Direct Tv.

Welcome to SatGuys Paul. Unfortantly the answer to your question is no. The 72.5 bird is to far away from the 101 bird for one dish to pick them up.

A Superdish wouldn't work anyways because the Dish Network LNB's on there are stacked frequencies whereas the DirecTv ones are not (also the DirecTV switches wont work with a SD)

Just use a 2nd 18" dish

Ok Then...
Can anyone tell me where I can get the elavation and azmuth for the 72.5 sat using my zip code?
Every program I find only gives me angles for 101sat...Thanks

plug in 72.5 for satellite and your nearest city (or scroll down and you can put in your zip and it will give you your latitude/longitude to plug in)

I found the first post in each of these two threads to be extremely helpful. Thankfully I was lucky enough to hit both sats on the first try with minimal cussing involved.

Also, I think all the transponders on the 72.5 bird are all even numbered, so you probably would get by with a single LNB for this like I did, just be sure to connect it to the 18v / 22khz port of your 4x4.
