Can someone please help me with a tv code for a Toshiba flat screen tv. I'm trying to program my parents Directv remote to work with their new tv they got and I'm having no luck at all.

toshiba is bad on the universal remotes ... to turn on & off you need to switch to tv & press the middle power button twice to turn off or on

Try code 10765, this isn't listed in toshiba tv codes, its an apex & changhong tv code. It will give you ON & OFF commands, but will not allow the input key to work. If you have rc32 or 34 remote, try code 11656. And if you have the rc64 & 65 remotes try code 12006.
