I need to buy a new dish mover and there listing the voltage as 36 volts to the motor. I have no idea what voltage I need. I got a STS 3000 and Uniden 4600. I want to get something that will work with a 4dtv receiver also. Are they all 36 volts? Do i need to measure mine? IF so how do i do it? Im looking at this one from
Sadoun. Do you think it will work?

eBay: Moteck 24" Heavy Duty LINEAR ACTUATOR Arm Dish Mover (item 160081758124 end time Aug-02-07 14:32:13 PDT)

My largest dish is 10 foot.

Thanks for the help

most older receiver pushed the dishes at 24 volts the newer ones at 36volts
my motor and its older can do both. von wise.

i think all the new motors sold do 36 volts but can do 24 ...... best to call and ask first.

After taking a second look its an STS SR300 receiver. Below where the motor connects is says 38vDC. I took a DVM and took a voltage reading accross the M1 and M2 lines. It reads between 33 and 34v DC when I move the dish.

Does that mean I got a 36 volt motor?

Thanks
Allen
