i tried to install a slimline 3 at my vacation home. i want to travel with 3 boxes and take them back and foirth. the house has a 5lbn and the vacation home a slimline 3. i can only get 1 box to work. is ther some place I can get install instructions? do I need more parts or what? I have a multi switch and a 29 v power?. can anybody help

First off,

Assuming that everything is connected correctly, you have to redo the setup through the menu and change the 5 lnb setting to three.

In your post you mentioned the Power inserter, you need to have a SWM set up to use the PI, a regular Slimline doesn't need the addl power....
Sounds like your using a SWM5 at home and a SL3 at the vacation place ?
Like Chip said, make sure you go thru the Sat Set Up when you get there so the correct dish set up can be found,otherwise you probably won't get it to work.
If you are using a SL3 at the vacation home you'll need to run a line for each tuner/ recvr.
