Help with setup

Installed a new satellite slimline dish with the 5-LNB and putting in the new HR 21 700 HD DVR.
I have great signal strength on the 119 (90%), but nothing on the 110 (etc.103). SO not sure if there is a setup error, or do I need to continue to play around wtiht the dish pointing.

Ok...still figuring this out. Did tweak the dish, and now I am getting the 110 and 119, but nothing on the 101 for satellite strength.

Any suggestions....as wondering if this is still a dish pointing issue.?

You should be using the 101 to peak the dish in the beginning and go from there.
If you have the 110 and 119, it's probably a tilt issue.

I always start with the 101.

I'm guessing you are pointing at 110 and not 101.

101 is where the core programming is located, I also think it may be the strongest. (maybe not now, seeing the 99 and 103 are up)

I would also triple check that the mast is plumb, and your presets are correct. I do agree that if the mast is plumb, it is probably a tilt issue.

The installers said that 101 was in the middle. I thought they meant is was in the middle of the satellites the dish was looking at.

Good point,
I forgot to mention that, the mast needs to be plumb before anything else is done or all your other adjustments will be off.
