hgtv hd on fios?

Well, it's up and running on Dish Network. I would like this channel but I have to admit that it is kind of a take it or leave it channel for me. I will probably watch the HD channel moreso then the SD channel but I don't watch this channel a whole lot anyways. I do go to the HD channels in the guide first to see of there is anything of interest before going to the SD part of the guide.

Positives: Excellent PQ
Neutral: HGTV doesn't interest me
Negatives: Lot's of repeats...only 350 hours of HD programming this year


Still, I feel the channels is off a great start by opting for quality (PQ) over quantity (4:3 and stretch-o-vision). Hope FiOS gets it soon.

kind of suprises me that it is not on yet since they do have the agreement. to be honest, i watch alot of hgtv and food tv with my wife and am looking forward to its addition.

Absolutely, we can sit there and admire the PQ while our wives, who for the most part could care less about PQ, but want the content. Happy home.
