For my 2 Hopper/2 Joey setup, one Hopper has a direct ethernet available, but the other does not. I tried using an old powerline adapter with the other Hopper (which works fine with our Roku), but that Hopper doesn't seem to keep a steady connection, so I decided to go ahead and order a HIC.
It's here (no idea if it works since I'm still at work, though
), but I see on the back that there's a "Mode" switch which isn't mentioned in the sparse documentation. A quick Google search doesn't turn up anything either, so I figured I'd ask -- does anyone know what this switch does? I don't plan on flipping it from the (presumably) factory setting, but I'm curious.
