Enter your location (I entered "Ankara, Turkey") and then pick a satellite in the dropdown list that appears below the address box.
In theory, if you have a clear line-of-sight you should be able to see any satellite that is above the horizon from your location.
In practice the satellites that are below 10 degrees above the horizon can be harder to get.
If the elevation appears as a red negative number you won't be able to "see" it from your location.
To get info as to what type of programming you might find on each satellite you need to go to:

You mentioned a BUD in your post, that implies a C-Band dish, and for home/hobbyist use they are typically +/- 2 meters-4 meters in the USA.
The channels that you can view with on C-band (if unencrypted) will have 4 digits for their frequency number (Ku-band will have 5 digits), all that info and a lot more can be found on Lyngsat.
You can pick up Ku-band signals with a much smaller dish (.8m-1.2m).
