Ok dumb question bet when I am scanning the sky's and I get a signal how can you teel what bird you have? I guess this goes back to another thought I never really figured out the USALS thing how does it know where to go once I select a bird to point at. This is on a pansat 2550a with a 2100 motor. Maybe I am over thinking this.

USALS knows because you put your latitude & longitude in and what your southern sat is. Its preprogrammed to move when you switch satellites.

I gave up on my USALS function..it was always off by one click. Use 1.2 now and have no problems :)

I dont exactly understand the first question, but if I have a list of feeds, hit "ok" to bring up channel list and scroll to it. In that box it says the satellite and TP

Not sure this will work for a blind scan but on my 2500, when you are on the channel push the information button (the "i" button bedlow the channel down buttton) it gives all the pid's and at the bottom of the box it id's the satellite.
