Once again this Holiday Season is upon us! And once again my wife and I are throwing another special SatelliteGuys Holiday Party! This party is to say THANK YOU to all our members for our success over the year!
This year instead of giving electronics items as we have done in the past, this year we are giving away something that more people need this holiday season…. MONEY. The prizes for this year’s SatelliteGuys Holiday party will be in the form of American Express, Visa & Discover Card gift cards!
The annual SatelliteGuys Holiday Party will be held on Monday Night December 8th at 9PM ET in our Chat Room. But this year in addition to being able to win in our chat room we will also have giveaways for all members including those who can’t make it in to our chat room on December 8th!
Now it should be noted that this year the majority of prizes will be given to our supporters (aka Pub Members) who have made this site possible, but with that said a number of prizes will be made available to all members no matter if they have been a supporter or not. It should also be noted that the reason for doing this is just to say THANK YOU to our supporters for helping us keep the lights on in 2008. We are NOT doing this as a fund raiser for the site and we only ask that you become a supporting pub member if you want to help support the site, not because you want to try increasing your odds at winning a prize in our holiday party.
All gift card prizes are being donated directly by Scott & Eva Greczkowski and it should be noted that the cost of these items is not coming from the SatelliteGuys support fund. Again this is a thank you from us to our members for a great 2008!

For all giveaways except the “second chance” drawings the member must be in the chat room to win. Winners will be selected at random by the Prize Goddess and will be announced in the chat room. The winner has 20 seconds to respond that they are with us after that time we will draw a new winner for that prize, so please pay attention to the chat room so you don’t miss out!
THE SATELLITEGUYS CHAT ROOM WILL BE OPEN FOR TESTING 24/7 STARTING ON WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 3RD. Please test and make sure your computer can get into our chat server beforehand. We cannot be held responsible if for some reason you cannot get in the chat. SO AGAIN PLEASE TEST THINGS BEFORE THE CHAT STARTS!
In the unlikely event that the chat server crashes we will post an announcement to the SatelliteGuys homepage that the chat server is down. If the server does not come back online by 9:45PM ET We will then take the list of people who were in the chat before it crashed and will randomly select names and award prizes. Winners will then be announced on our homepage.
There will 3 ranges of giveaways during the night, “Everyone eligible”, “Pub Members Eligible” & “Second Chance”
“Everyone Eligible” giveaways are open to everyone (except Scott & Eva Greczkowski) in the SatelliteGuys chat room at the time the prize is due to be given away. You must be in the chat room to win; when a winner is randomly selected you have 20 seconds to respond that you are with us, if you don’t reply in that time frame we will draw another winner.
“Pub Members Eligible” giveaways are open to all current SatelliteGuys supporters (as designated by “Pub Member” or “Supporting Founder” designation in their user profile) In addition since all SatelliteGuys staff is volunteers they are also eligible since they donate their time to help run the site. To be eligible to win you must be in the chat room at the time of the drawings, if selected you must reply within 20 seconds that you are with us, if you don’t reply in that time frame we will draw another winner.

However with that said we cannot accept responsibility for any prizes lost in the mail.
