How many homeplug adaptors do I need, one or two? I know the 722 has homeplug built-in, so does that mean I just need one adaptor to connect to my router?

That works with my 622, so I would assume the same holds for the 722.

You will need only a single HomePlug adapter. You use that to bridge between your router and the power lines. Then when your 722 is connect to the power lines, it should be able to see the router and lease an IP address.
