Hopper 3/ Joey 4 issue

I am having a problem the last few days. I have Hopper and a Joey 4. Over the last few days when I play back recordings from the Joey playback randomly jumps back to the beginning of the recording. Also lice broadcasts randomly freeze. Both issues have occurred with programming from various sources and only on the Joey 4.

Any thoughts on what might be going on

Well it has returned. I tightened all connections and reset both the Hopper and Joey
I will likely be making a service call request tomorrow.

Gone again .I fear that it does no good to have a conversation or service call when the symptom.bas disappeared.

Hi Peter,

I have the exact same issue with my JOEY 4, which started this year.

Playback is fine on the Hopper, but on the JOEY 4, it frequently jumps back to the beginning.

Has anyone found a solution?

When I had a service tech out he said he has seen it before but that he had no idea what to do

I have not done a lot of research on this.. .I too would be interested bif anyone else has encountered a solution.

Unless I jinx it with this post it seems to have resolved itself.
