Hopper 3 nightly reboot gone bonkers

Hello all,
As I am a night owl I changed the nightly reboot from 1 am default to 4 am in settings. Ever since I did that the nightly reboot is now ioccuring in the afternoon 11 and a half hours later at 3:30 pm. I even went back and changed the time back to 1 am——but still I am getting the nightly reboot at 3:30 pm. So..about 3:30 pm every day I get a screen message asking me if I am ready for the reboot. And yes...in the settings menu I am ensuring it’s AM and NOT PM so I know it’s not user error. Any thoughts on how to correct?
 
power cycle ?? pull the cord reset ??
just starting with the basics, strange problem for sure, and annoying as heck i would imagine
 

I get the same thing but at random times during the day but almost always at around 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Central. My Daily is set to 3:00 am. I've tried 2,3, & 4 am still get em. Also tried hard/soft resets!!!

My wireless joey has been updating at 1 am again since August whether I'm watching or not (I can see the connection light go out on the Hub) - H3 is set to 4 am as well, tried other times without making any difference. Software is screwed up.
 
I complained frequently about this problem and received the following response recently: (slightly edited)


I haven't requested a receiver replacement.

Mine does, also, but it does give me a warning so I can cancel it

When I first got my Hopper3, it did the same random reboots for several weeks but it stopped doing it.
I have it set on the Dish default of 4:00am.

Did a search and in the huge list on this topic, this was the latest I could find (or tried to find).

"HEY DISH!! WHEN IS THE "I REBOOT WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE IT!" ATTITUDE OF THE HOPPER 3 GOING TO GET FIXED?!"

Ours are set for 6:00am. They NEVER reboot then. They NEVER reboot while they are sleeping. They ONLY reboot while we want to watch them AND even During Recordings they hound and hound with pop-up panels. AND sometimes while asleep during a recording. BUT NEVER when the units are idle and or sleeping. "WHY!!"

And 50% of the time if it's when we are watching we get the panel that allows us to stop it. Most other times, the screen just goes black and we have to deal with it. Not sure if the box crashed or is doing the Daily Reboot. We are learning though that in having to go find the botched recordings and whatnot that there are other ways to get this programming . . . Both H3's are running U540. Oh we now are getting corrupt recordings.

This has been discussed time and time again and nothing . . .
