Hopper 3 no longer working with Alexa

Alexa has stop working with my Hopper 3 receivers. Alexa told me to deactivate and reenable the Dish skill. However when I get try to enter the activation code in Alexa I receive the error Bad Gateway.

I tried to attach a screen shot showing the error but instead it pasted in pictures from my Cub Scout campout. I tried to enable the Dish skill in Alexa tonight and this time it worked.
