Hello again friends.

I have in my flat roof a 1.2 meter offset but i heard that it can be use for c band but my ??? is where the c band lnb will be located in the center or same as the ku band in the end down and the focal lengh what would be . and which satellites will be easy to get ( i got in mind satmex 5 @ 116 0

thank u. VERY MUCH FOR ANY COMMENTS :):)

The focus will always be the same for any given dish, so you are correct as far as lnb location. A lot of folks have had limited sucess with smaller dishes such as yours, but only for the stronger transponders. A BCS 421 may work well for you.

If you have other dishes for Ku, then I'd suggest you just try the C-band alone on this 1.2m dish.
See Linuxman's thread for some birds & transponders he got on a 1m dish.

As for an LNBF, I don't think you can beat this current deal we have.
Of course, if you are in a hurry, there are other choices. -

how to convert a 1.2m dish to c-band?

put some 4 foot pedal extensions on it. :D
