clarification (?)

Your LNB has two connectors.
If you apply 12 volts to either, it will set the LNB to Right hand polarization.
If you apply 18 volts to either, it will set the LNB to Left hand polarization.
...for that output.

Choosing between Vertical (12v) on your receiver and Horizontal (18 v), will allow you to choose between Right or Left twist, respectively.

Just as you pick between transponders that are V or H, choosing between RH and LH means you are on the same frequency but ignoring "the other signals".

Ill switch the ports tomorrow and see if the problem is same
If it still occurs Ill get the VOM out and check it.
I know with my DSR 920 I can get 20 volts out there.
I havent yet got the proper DC blocking splitters courtesy of
a shipping mess up with supplier(3 wks and counting).
When I do get them Ill slave the Coolsat off the DSR 920.

Which brings me to the next hurdle
Ive never used DIseqc switch before but got a 4x1 with my CS.
Im pretty clear on how to do that for my DSR 920 and the CS.
What Im not sure of is the fact that Ive added another LNB at the
BUD but only have 2 coaxs. Is it possible to put another switch
out at the dish for the switching of Ku linear and circular and the other coax
for C band?I still use the C/Ku so dont want to lose either.
What would the switch configuration be set to at the CS receiver?
Should I turn off the power on the LNB from the CS and use only the
DSR 920 or wouldnt it be wise since the CoolSat switches V to H(RH,LH)
on the circular,to feed that with only the Coolsat?
