I went ahead and bought a StarChoice receiver (the basic $79.99 deal) and plan on subscribing to the NFL Sunday Ticket. I have a local installer that says he can install StarChoice but before I subscribe, I'm curious as to what package I will need in order to see the Blue Jays? I wanted to go with the $20.00 / month package but figure I'll need to go to the next package up just to get the Sunday Ticket...

Also, this may sound stupid, but is TSN the equivalent of ESPN here in America? And can somebody help me with the conversion rate or, since going through a broker, will I pay the Canadian price (I hope that was stated correctly).

tsn is espn up there reffered to as toronto sports network
for the bluejays their primary channel is sportsnet ontario
the sportsnet consist of 4 east pacific ontario and another one, when sporting events on like bluejays since only 1 team in canada 9 of 10 times all the sportsnet channels will show bluejays

i guess get the sunday ticket pack then make sure you get he rogers sportsnets

i though starchoice had a deal where you get sunday ticket and center ice for 1 season for a pretty good deal

Blue Jays are on 3 networks
-Sportsnet Ontario (its a regional sports net)
-TSN (The SPorts Network...partially owned by ESPN)...25 games a year
-CBC has 8 games this year and I think a few more next year

The $20 digital basic will not allow you add ANYTHING so you need at least the essentials. Sportsnet is in the Soorts Pack. TSN is in every pack as is CBC

TSN is kinda like ESPN as they (TSN) are partially owned by ESPN so you will see MNF on TSN. The conversion rate you can see by going to xe.com

They bill your CC in CAD $$ (take the rate and add 15% for taxes) and then do the conversion and thats what your CC will be charged

Not getting all SC HD channels, HELP!

Can Starchoice co-exist with FTA on the same cable?
