I completely agree. We have a station here that has done 6, even 10 subchannels. Their PQ is not so hot.
 
Since it costs nothing, except for the cost of the hard drive, it's a good idea to have one and transfer any program that you want to keep to the ehd, That way, if the receiver dies, you haven't lost what you've recorded.

Yes it sure is,been down that oh no all our recordings are gone road at least 3 times.Now I have all the wife's favorites archived.
