How long does it take

I just got my 3688 in yesterday, been fooling around with it some, it takes
along time to do a blind scan. any tips on this reciever I"ve done looked at this forum and one other, any help , any shortcuts, is what I'm looking for.

I have a 3618 and noticed that too. My Pansat can do 2 blind searches in the time it takes the 3618 to do one.

TO be fair there is a firmware update for the 3618 to speed up blind scan, but It finds things other receivers miss (IMO) I can wait : )
