how to add 40.0 remote to H3 as a second remote?

does anyone know how to add a second remote to the H3. i can not figure it out.

Just point the remote at the box and hit the Pair/Input button. You may have to be in the Settings/diagnostics/receiver menu before hitting the button but you can pair multiple remotes.

It seems like I had to go to the menus pointed out above before I could add additional remotes - I have both the 40.0 and the 52.0 set up now

You need to get to the diagnostics screen and then press the Sat button on your remote until it beeps.

Pressing the System Info button under the front door on the H3 will get you to the proper screen.
