How To Add AMC-9

Can someone please tell me how to add AMC-9 to my Coolsat? I'm unsure how to add new sats. Thanks!

From the Main Menu go to "Dish Setting". Use the left or right arrow keys (I go left for birds in the east and vise versa) to cycle through the list until you hit a blank spot. Hit the Red Key on your remote to rename it and then change the other settings as usual. Go into "Motorized" and setup USALS, do a blind scan and you're done. If you have any trouble you may have to ask for an active TP.

I like the program Channelmaster to add satellites and rename and reorder channels. It seems much quicker than trying to do it through the menus. You have to have a serial cable and a pc hooked up to do it.

You can get everything you need from Lyngsat.

It's at 83w and the DirecWay transponder should be good to point at it with:

12060V S/R 30000

Is the S/R the signal rate? That was the setting I was unsure of....
