How to connect hopper to wireless joey

Hopper died, so they sent a Hopper with Sling to replace it, I'm trying to connect my wireless joey to the new Hopper but it says unlinked on the hopper and I can't find a way to link them

I think you have to purchase the wireless joey and then you have to activate it and then you have to link it with the hopper before you hook it up to the ethernet port and then you have to pay for the wireless access point fee.

Yep, it needs to be active otherwise it won't link.
