How to get a signal?

So I know someone who wants Directv but it might be difficulty to get a signal as they live in a forest type area and acompletely clear view of the SE sky might be difficult. Are there any work arounds or options here?

I had the same situation at friend new home in the woods, when I went to the edge of the property and shot over the neighbors yard I had a clear view.
Just had to make a longer coax run.
Don't know if thats possible for you, but it may help.
