How to interpret Dish 622 HDMI Test

I'm trying to use the HDMI Test capability of the 622 to check to see if my Sony 34XBR960 has HDCP enabled. The Sony works very well with the 622 via HDMI with or without a MonoPrice 5x1 HDMI switch. I have a new Toshiba HD-A3 HD DVD player that does not work via HDMI with my 960 and it seems to be an issue with HDCP. I've searched for info on the 622 HDMI Test without finding anything. I've also searched for the HDCP parameters that are shown on the test status output without finding anything. The HDCP APP State page from the 622's HDMI Test shows the following parameters ---
HDCP_enforce :0
HDCP_possible:0
HDCP_permit:1
I do not know if these paramters are sourced from the 622 or from the 34xbr960. The 622 output is certainly non-HDCP at this time but the 34xbr960 should be able to accept the HDCP output of the HD DVD player.

Has anyone seen a technical specification for the 622 HDMI Test?

What year is your Sony from? You may be in trouble if (when?) Dish enables HDCP over the HDMI. The line "HDCP_possible:0" means that your 622 doesn't think your TV supports HDCP. My Mitsubishi RPTV from 2003 shows HDCP_possible:1.
