When you play a PS2 game on the PS3 it says there is no memory card detected. How can I use the HD as a memory card? Or can I get if a memory card for the PS3 if the hard drive won't save it? I'm tired of loosing all my games everytime I turn it off.

Did you make a virtual memory card on the hard drive?

Everything I've read says that's what you do.

Yeah thanks. I had made one for the PS1 and assumed it would work for both but I guess it doesn't. I had figured it out when I went to look at it. I also didn't have it assingend to a slot which I also had to do.

One more thing does anyone know how to check and see how much the battery life the controller has? I hit something one time where a battery meter popped up in the upper right hand corner but I can't figure out what I hit and how I did it. I assume it was for the controller but I don't know for sure.
