How to use a DishPro LNBF?

Guys you are making this way too hard on yourselves. What you do is take your horizonal transponder, subtract it from 25600, and change it to vertical. This is the exact way its done in Channel Master. So for example -


12282 H (Standard Freq)

25600 - 12282 = 13318 V (Dish Pro Freq)

Not completely true! I found that it will work on the CIRCULAR 110 and 119 but not on the LINEAR 121.

For LINEAR the figure is 24600.

Whoops forgot to add that in. Thanks Chuck! So for anyone else thats been following, its 25600 - TP Freq for Circular and 24600 - TP Freq for Linear.

im still not understanding this ive tried it all the ways on here. ok i got a dish 500 and a viacast reciever and lets say i want to get 12370 which is a odd tp on 119 and i put my lo up 3100 and keep the freq the same it should work right well i cant get it.
i put it like this
lo 14350
and dl 12370
sr 2000
and nothing happens

i did the other way of subtracting 3100 from the freq also

Keep your LO at 11250. What you want to do is this

Change "LNB Power (Volt)" to 14 for Vertical like I mentioned earlier. With Dish Pro LNBs there are no Horizontal transponders. Then change "0 / 12V Mode (Volt)" to 0. Last if you are using a Dish 500 w/ DP LNB you'll need to turn DiSEqC on and commit 119 to port 1. Told ya this whole time it was a settings prob

well i took the switch out so i dont need to do that extra stuff im direct connected to the 119 lnb but with 14 volt 0/12 on or 0/12 off or on with lnb 1 diseq or off etc all the combos still nothing im starting to think im not going to get it.
