I am on my second HR-20 receiver and both units have two issues with the audio:
1. Occasional momentary loss of audio on playback (noted by others)
2. Constant low level buzz on the audio, very noticable when playback is paused and audible during low volume scenes.
For the latter I have tried the regular audio connections (both pairs of jacks on DVR), digital audio, connecting to both my surround sound and directly to my TV's audio, different connections on the rear of my surround sound, and all get the buzzing. However, the Philips DVR, two DVD players, an iPod and a VCR all play through the surround sound with no buzzing at all.
Anyone else encounter similar problems or have any suggestions? I am about out of ideas short of cancelling the service which I really don't want to do.
