HR1-700 Need B Band Converters?

Got the Hr21-700 about 6 months ago from D*...Didn't install till today because I had a room being redone after water damage. Hooked up, activated, no HD. Does the unit need the B Band Converters? Didn't come with them. Thanks!!!

You can receive the MPEG2 HD channels in the 70s without the BBC, also any locals on the SW1 or SW2 satellites.
