HR20 phone home....

Just received HR20 today in the mail, during setup does the unit phone home like the HR10s.

Just received HR20 today in the mail, during setup does the unit phone home like the HR10s.

I don't know, I do know I have my phone line plugged in this reciever all the time, the other has not seen a phone line in over a year.

Kinda hard to say if it calls in seeing it has to do it's thing on start up.

My HR20 wan't connected to phone during setup, works fine.

However, can't order PPV thru receiver, only online.

No, it's not like a Tivo. Phone line not required other then for PPV.
