HR21 and H21

Buddy asked me today what he can do with a HR21 and H21 as far as Whole Home DVR. As I understand it he can record and access his recordings from both receivers but, will the H21 be able to pause live tv or rewind? Thinking not as there isn't a hard drive but figured I'd ask.

Nope. He can only access and view on the H21

I second hutch. The only non DVR unit you can pause, rewind, etc is a client... But that doesn't really count as it requires a networked Genie system.

The work around is to hit the "R" button and playback the recording using Whole-Home.
