HR22-100 and first run only episodes.

I have a question, why when we schedule to record first run only episodes it records episodes which orignally aired 4 months ago.

This usually happens because the guide data is incomplete. The DVR can't determine when it was first aired. Even if the date is included in the visible description, it's the underlying data that's used.

It does the same thing if the guide data is absent.

Better to record everything and allow the user the option to delete.

Yeah, that, and sometimes the damn thing is so fricken sllllooooowww as hell. Every few days, sometimes longer if I'm lucky, it is hard to even change channels, because of how slow it is. The channels you press don't register within the allotted time frame for it to input all the numbers. Then, out of the blue, it will work again at medium-slow speed.

Don't get me wrong, I love the quality, and being able to record shows, but come on *D, let's get this thing going faster, jeez! I doubt a firmware update will help, but who knows. I really wish they could do something to make it work at faster speeds.
