HR22 HD DVR

Just bought a new HR22 already have 2 of them, this new one has been up and running for 3 days now but when you change channels you get a black screen for up to 3 or 4 secs till the picture appears on the new channel. Anybody else have this problem ? My older receivers don't do this.

How do you have hooked up? HDMI? I asked because mine did this and it was a cable.

Check Menu-Parental, Fav's & Setup-System Setup-HDTV. If Native is On, setting it to Off will speed up channel changes (the same resolution will be used for all channels). The picture quality may suffer, but life is full of tradeoffs.

okay thanks will try that when i get home ... and it does seem to only have the delay with the HD channels
