HR24-500 glitch

My HR24-500 would not respond to my Harmony One yesterday, so I tried the DTV remote, and it would not turn the unit on either. Did a red button reset, and has worked fine since. Anyone seen this before?

These kinds of things are not limited to the HR24. Usually, a restart will fix it.
I had to do that with my old HR20 (now defunct), but not the HR24 or HR23.

My 500 loves to start ignoring the remote and front panel buttons every week or two. Requires a reset. HR22 never has this problem, which is why it's back in the living room.

After a few months, Id tell anyone that could live with the speed, just keep the 20/21/22.

I had the same problem with the remote yesterday on my HR24-500. I had it set to RF and it's been working fine until yesterday. I changed it back to IR and it's more responsive now. I didn't see any software updates or anything, the receiver just stopped taking commands from the remote for whatever reason. The remote was fine because I could control the TV.

Mines always been on IR, so Id not expect that to fix it.

Did that, it didn't work in my case.
