The biggest concern I have about going out and getting and HR24 retail is that if it goes bad would DirecTV send a refurbed HR21 or what have you in its place? They need to step forward and say this will not be the case for HR24s.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon .....
The Costco stores don't get the Newest stuff in till after it's been out for awhile.
