Why GOL not FSC?

I'm sorry if this topic has been covered. I'm curious why add GOLHD when it is not even up and running while FSCHD is? Anybody have a theory? What does this announcement mean as far FSCHD in the future?

It means nothing. As stated here and other forum sites there are 40+(I Believe) other channels being tested but not yet name. Just be patient.

I'm trying to figure this out as well. I didn't even know Gol TV was launching a HD channel until it got announced here.

Since it's the end of the EPL/ Serie A seasons anyways, Direct TV may just wait until it starts again in August before launching it in HD so they can get other channels up first. MLS fans will be a bit screwed in this scenario.

Gol TV HD launches August 1 and D* said they're adding it "this summer", which means they're probably adding it at launch.
