MRV has been updated to show episode titles within groups on remote receivers.

This is my first CE download, hopefully it works well, I really want MRV right now, so if this goes national, let focus on being able to network multiple receivers to make a "TV Farm" of another suggestion is develop a link to record to NAT, that would make great multi room and give me tons of space.

Almost forgot about the CE tonight. Started at 2:23am finished downloading 2:34am. I always wondered what would happen if you started to download the CE and it went past 2:30am.

D/L completed on both HR22's. Had to T/S L/R; found bad B Band Converter. (Tuner 1 had 101, but no 99 or 103; swapped B Band Converters and problem moved to Tuner 2). DirecTv is sending me 4 replacements on 5 day shipping. I had B band Converters for a year w/o failures when I was with DirecTv previously but this one lasted 2 months. Is this a common failure or is there a way to reset the B Band Converter? (It's still warm to the touch.)

It's probably only a coincidence that I lost it while D/L CE x339.

YES! this ce is so much better! i'll be able to fully test it all week. will post report later today :up

Downloaded CE for the first time on both HR21-700 but I am unable to get MRV working, I have done keywords, and also verified in the Misc menu that MRV is turned on, but when I hit the list button, it only brings up the local list. I saw the download come down, and it took about 30 minutes for everything to complete. I assume that I was able to get the new software because I got the message that new software had been downloaded, and the DLBs worked. Any suggestions to what needs to be done so that MRV will work.

My to-do list seems to have filled out.

The playlist sort changes are now sticky and dont have to be done every time you hit 'list'.

I had one oddity that so far hasnt produced any actual bad results. When I pulled up the playlist, the showing for "Eureka" that most recently recorded was in the merged playlist (I am using the downstairs unit and the show is upstairs) had the red circle with white horizontal line through it that has previously indicated a deleted show that hasnt quite yet disappeared. I was able to play the show and the red circle went away, show was still there.

MRV splatting seems to have been reduced somewhat, or maybe its just been behaving itself this morning.

B-Dog from your previous posts I gather that you're networked via direct wire cat5; if so, start with test connection and run the system test when it comes up, s/b no errors.

Secondly, IMO, there's a general consensus that a restart is required to get MRV server going; although sometimes a system test will jump start it if was working and later quit. Try cycling MRV off/on (you can use MISC. Options to turn it off but k/w search MRVCLIENTON to turn it on is still prescribed in CE notes) then keyword search IAMANEDGECUTTER again prior to restart. (All CE equipment).

Hopefully future restarts will be minimized or no longer necessary; I find that the test connection will usually get MRV servers going again but not always.

cfb, my list seems to be recovering as well.

I have yet to order a network switch and I was wondering if your buffer of 144Kb per packet on your new switch was enough or maybe needs to be larger? I guess my question is how large are the video packets and is there a buffer large enough to hold at least one video packet and still fit in a budget? And are those packets varying in size; for example, to allow more pixels for sporting events in HD? As MRV has been operating, I'm wondering if DirecTv thinks there's time enough to interrupt stream between packets for other tasks because their test networks are using large buffers?

Is your hard drive down to around 15 % left ?
I thought the red circle and line thru it mmeant you were running out of HD room, I got that once before and removed a few shows and they all went away.
