HTL HD Questions

I have an HR21 receiver and I was wondering if my old HTL HD receiver is capable of receiving the same HD channels as the new receiver. Also if it is capable, how do I set it up? Right now the HTL HD receiver only receives the HD channels from like 74-79 but the new receiver get channels like USA HD and TNT HD. So is there anything I can do to get them on the HTLHD? Thanks for any help.

The new HD are and will be MPEG4 and the old non-DirecTV receivers will not work with MPEG4.

If you have local HDTV broadcasts the HTL HD makes a decent OTA receiver even without a Directv signal just need a TV antenna.
