I found the Motherlode of satellite dishes

I've been trying to meet an old C-bander I heard about and today was the day. I talked him into loaning me a dish lifter to install a 10' dish. While I was at his house a saw hundreds of dishes, C-Band and Ku. He has a stack of C-Band mesh panels 20feet thick. I saw a couple of prodelin SuperDishes that nevr went into production. Feedhorns staring at you from every nook and cranny.

He's in the mood to start clearing this stuff out. Tons of it. I saw a couple of AKAK H180s I wouldn't mind having either. He's got a almost brand new (shiny paint) 3m Winegard Pinnacle stuffed behind a shed. more pics....

The last pic in the previous post is the Prodelin. The LNBs mated to it were a style not used around here. The one had the very pointed small cone on the feed. He has two of these that were sent to the dealer for display but were never used here. They had a short run of 105 SuperDishes for a couple months and then they all were replaced with 121 Superdishes. Now they're obsolete. That fiberglass Prodelin reflector is really heavy.

OMG! You weren't kidding about that stack of dish panels! It's as big as that VW van!

He ought to raffle them off one at a time.. He's probably got more dishes than any one individual in the US !!

my 3 M winegard is probably not repairable, and I can make a place to store lots of good stuff.... For the right stuff given away, I would make the 480 mile trip, might even rent a truck. (and trailer)

Even though I never met this guy until yesterday, I have talked to him on the phone over the past 18 months a few times. I always had a picture in my mind of what he looked like. Of course that picture was nothing like what he really looks like. What he really looks like is what I always imagined your ex to look like, LOL seriously!
