Just got one last week. Definite improvement in speed over my Romario.

Only thing I don't like is that they took the component video away to save on room and went to a single hdmi cable output

Do you have to buy this with the lifetime sub built in or can you forgo that and pay the sub monthly? I'd consider this, cut the cord and go with PS Vue if I didn't have to spend $500 upfront.

I like the new Bolt with 6 tuners. That thing is a beast.
Problem is it won't save me any money monthly.

Not without paying $1000 up front, and still paying $8.50 a month for cable card and outlet fees.
Tivo is too expensive.
It would take years to recoup those charges.
And by the time you do , your machine is dated, and now you start all over again.

No reason they can't have cheaper prices and monthly service plans cut in half.
Maybe more people would buy them.
