I tried Sling TV at CES 2015, and now I'm cancelling cable

Obviously, everyone would agree that multiple streams at the same cost would be preferable. With one stream, YMMV...

Which was my point in the first place. One stream will not work for all people and as such it is will appeal more to younger millennials who don't have families yet and are single on the go.
 
For years my thought has been that pay-tv is safe and secure until ESPN and HBO decide to "cut the cord" themselves.

HBO really started this process when it allowed cablecos to bundle it with internet/low tier tv packages at not much more than the internet service itself. ESPN is now part of the new SlingTV. This year looks like the year things get very interesting.
Taking that further, HBO has a standalone service debuting in time for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.
 
People will want one device to access the different streaming services available. When you see two or more become popular, I can see one wanting to buy the other out to create fewer choices again.

Last mile in sight, Real reason for the move to Sling TV, Dish money wifi spectrum for Sling TV on this service? They think he is going to Mars.
