I want Philly locals.

I know this question has been asked many times before but the second service house address stumped me and didn't find a answers. Thanks

MY zip 08087, gets NY locals, wants Philadelphia. My friend has Direct TV and get NY locals but want Philadelphia. I told him to change the service address to the house he HAD in Philadelphia. But want if the house in Philadelphia currently has direct TV? Can we pick a random address in Philadelphia? We live in Ocean county and border Burlington county NJ. My understanding is Burlington locals are Philadelphia. 5 minute drive your in Burlington county with a different zip. Can he change just his zip code to Burlington? Any ideas on getting Philly locals? I know both spot beams cover our area. He doesn't want a OTA antenna.

He'll need to change the whole address ...
also, drive over to wherever hes going to use the address from and make sure that there is not D* already being subbed at that location ... also helps to use a 1/2 address (like an apt) again, make sure the address you want to use is not already a D* sub.

I will run that by him. What about the CC address not matching his "address"? Change payment method?

Directv has never cared about things like that. If there is a 100 Main St, use 102 so there is no chance of duplicating another customers address.

Billing address and service address can be different. And yes, Burlington County gets Philly locals. Be aware that you'll be inside the Philly DMA for sports so any out of market packages you have will blackout the Phillies, 76ers and/or the Flyers. You'll also lose YES and SNY as RSNs but MSG and MSG+ will remain and be blackout free.

And yeah, I live in Burlington County.

Over the Air for Philadelphia channels might be the only answer if your friend has run out of alternatives. We are 40 miles from Philly and get the whole kit and kaboodle.
