What waterfront any where in the world is a really safe place at night? Have never know of one any where very safe even the Seattle Pier (except maybe the ferry area).

the only waterfront I have experience with is the homestead one. a super redevlopment of a old steel mill. Theres some salvaged steel equiptement still on cite as displays including a row of restored chimneys

the area isnt the best.

one nite there was a murder at the AMC LOWES, a guy got blown away at the snack bar.

I'm an engineer in the public transit business. We do driverless trains like the people mover at the Pittsburgh airport (and a lot of other ones) and the Vancouver Skytrain. Our latest project is a monorail in Saudi Arabia.

Thanks for the tip about the waterfront. I sometimes forget I'm not in Toronto when I'm down there, although we have gang activity too.
