I am trying to find a way to prevent users from gaining access to "MY COMPUTER" via IE 7. To view the hard drives, a user simply needs to type C: in the address bar, and they can manipulate files in IE. Is there a policy somewhere in Policy Editor that I can set to prevent users from browsing "My Computer" through IE?

There is a way to do it via group policy. It's a computer setting, I believe. We used to do it at my pervious place of employment. The setting is called "Prevent access to drives from My Computer."
